Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Yitel Premium in Shanghai, I found myself immersed in a unique blend of luxury and value that might resonate with savvy travelers. Nestled close to the vibrant Nanjing Road, this hotel offers a strategic location that is just a ten-minute walk to the iconic Bund, with a variety of nearby dining and shopping options. The room featured a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle, enhancing the convenience like me who appreciate a morning tea or coffee. The parquet floor added a touch of elegance, and the complimentary toiletries were a thoughtful detail that is often overlooked in many hotels. Wi-Fi was reliable, allowing me to effortlessly join Zoom meetings with friends back in Nairobi. What stood out was the staff's attentiveness. They were always willing to provide helpful suggestions for local exploration, which enhanced my overall experience. The hotel also boasts free laundry facilities-something that proved invaluable during my travels. While Yitel Premium might lean towards the pricier side, considering the strategic location and amenities, it certainly provides fair value for those looking for both comfort and accessibility.
